The Word The holy writ of the scriptures can weave a wonderful tapestry of golden threads upon the loom of our hearts and minds, laying the foundation of our knowledge, which can seamlessly coordinate with the power of the Holy Ghost to give us the most correct portrait of who the Savior truly is, and how much he truly loves each of us.”	The Teaching Moment Christ is the supreme teacher of love. When a father teaches his children with Christ-like love, he is following the example of our Savior. This helps each child believe on the father's words that Christ lives and loves each one of us.	Teaching His Law of Love Painted on canvas with acrylics and oils, the original is now part of the private collection of a patron who lives on Maui in Hawaii. The inspiration for the painting is from Matthew 13:54-56 when Christ taught at his own hometown synagogue. I often have wondered what would cause them to marvel at his wisdom. I think he must have been introducing them to His Law of Love. The Golden Rule. To love thy neighbor as thyself.
Look to the Lighthouse "Look to the Lighthouse of the Lord" features Christ as the lighthouse to save us in the storms of life. A multi-medium painting done with watercolor paints and inks, acrylics, pastels, and blending chalks, it is meant to help bring comfort and hope to anyone who is suffering. The inspiration for the painting came from thinking and praying about life's storms and how prayer can bring a deep, abiding peace, even in the midst of it all. There are three doves hidden in the painting.	When You Feel Broken Like a potter with a vessel created by his own hand, Christ loves each of us and is dedicated to helping us feel unbroken once more. Whether it be something from our bad choices or life's trials, through the power of his own sacrifice and saving atonement, we can be healed and feel His Peace.	PEACE BY PEACE When we allow inspiration from our Savior to influence the choices we make in our lives, we will experience peace. Just like a quilter placing each piece of fabric into place, then sewing them all together, we can create a happy life from peace to peace.
He Cares Jesus Christ cares about each one of us. When we are suffering, we can turn to him for Peace.	Blossom as the Rose The ancient peoples of South America had legends of a great white bearded God who came out of the sky to teach them, promising to return one day. Known by the Mayans as "Kukulkan," this God was revered and remembered even in the architecture of their pyramids. I believe that they were remembering the visit of Jesus Christ to their lands, after his resurrection, as in the Book of Mormon. We believe that the Native American descendants of these people will "Blossom as the Rose."	Follow the Light Sometimes we feel lost and don't know where to turn, but if we rely on the Savior and His Light, we will find our way out of any difficulties in life.
An Angel to Watch Over You I believe in Angels. They don't really have wings, but it is fun to paint them that way and symbolizes their powers to transcend gravity and be around us without our eyes seeing them.
